Hi, I'm Chris Sturm

I'm a Portland-based bookkeeper with a QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification and a background in technology that makes me unusually good at spotting patterns, building clean systems, and explaining what's actually going on in your numbers.

I started Creative Balance Works to work with small, service-based businesses — the solo practitioners, independent creatives, wellness providers, nonprofits, and neighborhood shops who are great at what they do but didn't get into business to stare at spreadsheets.

I'm detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and genuinely curious about your numbers. I work best with clients who want clean books, honest communication, and a real human in their corner — not just another app.
